“Come in,” I heard Brianna say when I tapped on her office door.

“Congrats, counselor. Another win.” She won by a thin hair, but she had won.

“Yes. If it hadn’t been for that girl admitting she punched in for the suspect, I’d have my first loss.”

“Well, the Gods were on your side,” I said and sat. “So what’s up, Bre? You haven’t been yourself lately.”

“Neither have you,” she retorted.

“My fiancé found out about my affair with his brother a couple of days ago and I haven’t talk to him since then.”

I gave a devilish grin. Sex usually eased Brianna’s pain. “Wow that is a reason to be beside yourself. You need some assistance to feel better.”

“As great as that sounds, I have enough to deal with right now. You would only add to the stress of my life.”

I stood. “Well, the offer still stands if you change your mind. I still have the keys to my condo across the street.”

“I’ll keep that in mind.” She grinned. “For now, I’m good.”

I made my exit and went back to my office. I picked up my cell and called Paige and told her I was working late and then headed to Lana’s.

She greeted me with a kiss. “Hey, baby.”

“Hey. I see you’ve been waiting for me.”

“Yes. It’s been too long and I wish I could ship your wife back to the west coast.”

“You and me both.” I loosened my tie. She had on a pair of short shorts and a tank, looking sexy as fuck. “Damn, baby, the sight of that ass is making my dick swell.”

“That was the plan. Now take those off.” She pointed to my slacks. I stepped out of my shoes and by the time I was down to nothing, my dick occupied her mouth.
